Rare Arboreal and Rear-Fanged Snakes from Documented Captive Breeding

I specialize in the husbandry and captive breeding of rare snake species belonging to the Colubridae family, with a particular focus on arboreal species from Central and South America as well as Southeast Asia.

My work is based on practical husbandry, reproducible breeding conditions, and comprehensive documentation of complete breeding projects—from courtship and mating to egg laying, incubation, hatching, and raising the offspring.

Focus Species

I currently work primarily with the following genera:

• Oxybelis
• Leptophis
• Ahaetulla
• Chrysopelea
• Thrasops
• Drymobius
• Boiga
• Gonyosoma boulengeri (Blue Morph)

Many of these species are considered challenging to maintain and breed successfully and are only rarely reproduced in captivity worldwide.

My Approach

All animals are maintained under carefully controlled, species-appropriate conditions. My goal is to recreate the natural habitats of each species as accurately as possible, with particular attention to:

• Natural day and night temperature cycles
• Humidity levels and seasonal rainfall simulation
• Seasonal environmental changes
• Species-specific feeding strategies

Every breeding project is thoroughly documented—from courtship and mating through egg laying, incubation, hatching, and the development of the offspring.
